Men's 1,600-Meter Relay

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point took its first ever men's 1,600-meter relay title on Saturday (May 24) after posting a time of 3:12.09 at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championship.

The group of Brad Koback, Nick Ver Duin, Kyle Steiner and Pat Leonard topped the squad from Central College (Iowa), which earned second place in 3:12.75. Members of the team were Matt Patrick, Alex Miller, Luke Bolander and Guy Dierikx.

McMurry University (Texas) came in third place in a time of 3:13.30, Williams College (Mass.) grabbed fourth place in a time of 3:13.52 and Emory University (Ga.) captured fifth in a time of 3:14.22.

Sixth place went to North Central College (Ill.) in a time of 3:14.23, seventh to Bethel University (Minn.) in a time of 3:14.77 and Augustana College (Ill.) rounded out the top eight with a eighth-place result of 3:15.00.
