Tri-State University's (Ind.) Russell Dill
held off defending champion Ted McMillan of Augustana College
(Ill.) to win the men's 400-meter hurdles on Saturday (May
24) at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship.
Dill finished with a time of 51.30 to top
2007 winner McMillan, who had a second-place mark of 51.45.
P.J. Theisen from the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) came
in third place at 51.92 while the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh's
Ben Zill took fourth place in a time of 51.94.
Fifth place went to Nathaniel Tussey of
Moravian College (Pa.) in a time of 52.01 and sixth place
to Alex Greenhouse from Emory University (Ga.) with a mark
of 52.15.
The remaining two All-Americans consisted
of Carleton College's (Minn.) Tom Ballinger in seventh place
at 52.16 and eighth-place Tanner Coghill from Washington
University (Mo.) in a time of 52.76.
