Women's 100-Meter Dash

A veritable “Who’s Who” of returning All-Americans led the way in the women’s 100-meter dash at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday (May 24).

Jodyann Raymond of City College of New York, Lauren Deas of Cabrini College (Pa.) and Ebony Barnes of New Jersey University each placed in the top-eight at the 2007 meet. Raymond, clocking a time of 11.84, claimed this year’s title by the smallest of margins (.01 seconds) over Deas, while Barnes finished in third-place in a time of 11.94.

Benedictine University's (Ill.) Kimyenna Abron became her school’s first spring track and field All-American, taking fourth-place in a time of 11.99. Hope College's (Mich.) Nora Kuiper ended up in fifth-place in a time of 12.03.

Rounding out the All-Americans were Elizabeth Caine of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in sixth-place in a time of 12.04, Jessica Starks of Capital University (Ohio) in seventh-place in a time of 12.11 and Callen Martin of Wilmington College (Ohio) in a time of 12.11.
