Women's High Jump

Keene State University (N.H.) added to its early success at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship Friday (May 23), when Crystal Blamy broke away from a three-way log jam at the top of the standings.

Blamy was the lone member of the group to clear the winning height of 5-7 to tie a J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium record. Richard Stockton College of New Jersey's Lisa Shepherd and Westminster College's (Pa.) Jessica Cooper each cleared 5-5 3/4. Shepherd took second-place due to making the height earlier than Cooper.

The remainder of the top-five sat in a three-way tie for fourth-place at 5-4 1/2. State University of New York-Geneseo's Amanda Haney, State University of New York-Cortland's Kristen Serikstad and Hope College's (Mich.) Christina Lis captured the remaining top-five finishes based on made attempts.

The remaining All-Americans were represented by Krystal Jackson of McMurry University (Texas) in seventh-place and Megan Clennon of Monmouth College (Ill.) and Leah Kay of Concordia-Moorhead College (Minn.) in a tie for eighth-place. All three cleared 5-4 1/2 and were awarded their place based on when they completed that height.
