
Holly Rollins from McMurry University (Texas) claimed the women's pole vault at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship on her last attempt, going over the bar at 12-10 1/4 to tie a J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium record. Going into her last effort, she was tied amongst a group of four competitors at 12-6 1/4.
University of Wisconsin-Stout's Pam Sellberg grabbed second-place at 12-6 1/4, while Monmouth College's (Ill.) Jessica White earned repeat All-American honors, taking third-place with a mark of 12-6 1/4 tying Moravian College's (Pa.) Anna Heim. Rachel Secrest of North Central College (Ill.) was also a repeat All-American, ending in a two-way tie for seventh-place at 11-10 1/2.
Earning their first All-American performance were Washington University's (Mo.) Morgen Leonard-Fleckman and Smith College's (Mass.) Etta Grover-Silva who soared to fifth and sixth-place, respectively at 12-2 1/2. Allison Worley from North Central College tied for seventh-place with a jump of 11-10 1/2.
