UW-Oshkosh To Host A Pair Of
NCAA Championships Memorial Day Weekend

UW-Oshkosh’s reputation as a leader in hosting national sporting events will strengthen Memorial Day Weekend when the school hosts the finals of the NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 22-24 at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh and the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship on May 23-27 at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute.  Sponsoring the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship along with UW-Oshkosh will be Lawrence University.

UW-Oshkosh hosted both events last year to become the first school to host two different NCAA Division III Championships on the same weekend and just the third to host two different NCAA Division III Championships during the same academic year.

UW-Oshkosh has hosted the finals of NCAA Division III Championships for baseball eight times (2000-07), men’s and women’s indoor track and field three times (1994, 1997, 2001), women’s basketball once (1996), men’s and women’s cross country once (1999), men's and women's outdoor track and field once (2007) and women’s volleyball once (1996).  UW-Oshkosh also hosted the 1981 NCAA Division II Men’s Gymnastics Championship.

UW-Oshkosh will also host the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship in 2009.
