PURPOSE: The purposes for which the National "O" Club, Inc. has formed are to: (1) Make decisions regarding allocations of National "O" Club money to UW-Oshkosh Athletics; (2) Provide a common organization to which former UW-Oshkosh athletes can remain in contact with other letter winners and their alma mater; (3) Provide a means whereby athletic letter winners can help promote UW-Oshkosh Athletics; (4) Encourage leadership and competitive qualities in young men and women with academic and athletic abilities; and (5) To promote, within the means of this corporation, the athletic teams and athletes, whenever and wherever possible.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The number of Board of Directors shall be not less than 20 nor more than 25. The Board of Directors shall be elected for a three-year term, with approximately 1/3 of them coming up for election each year. Each Board of Director elected annually shall take office on January 1st following their election. A Board of Director shall serve no more than two consecutive terms of office.

PROJECTS: The National "O" Club has been instrumental in assisting UW-Oshkosh athletics over the years with the purchase of computers, weight room equipment, Fund for Excellence contributions, bleachers, padded chairs, fax machine, scoreboards, and much more. In addition, the National "O" Club has created and sponsors the Hall of Fame, co-sponsors the Senior Awards Banquet, sponsors alumni events, assists with National Championship Awards, offsets cost of publications, and publishes the Titans on the Move newsletter at the conclusion of each season.

FUND FOR EXCELLENCE: The UW-Oshkosh Fund For Excellence is an endowment account held in the UW-Oshkosh Foundation to fund national championship awards that win a NCAA national title. WHO MAY JOIN: Any individual who has earned an athletic award (or equivalent) at UW-Oshkosh and is interested in the promotion of this corporation shall be eligible for membership.
