Coming SoonLast appearing on the hardwood floor for the Titans in 1991 when she received NCAA Division III All-America first team honors, Lisa Kirchenwitz is still recognized today as one of the most prolific scorers in UW-Oshkosh and WIAC women's basketball history.

Kirchenwitz counted 1,699 points for the Titans from 1987 to 1991, with an absence in 1990 due to an injury. Her career scoring output is currently the second-highest figure in UW-Oshkosh history and the sixth-highest mark in WIAC annals.

In addition to her 1,699 points, Kirchenwitz also ended a 95-game UW-Oshkosh career with 607 rebounds and 133 assists. The four-year starter tallied 30 or more points in a game five times, including a career-best 40 against UW-River Falls on February 9, 1991. That scoring performance against the Falcons currently ranks second in UW-Oshkosh and third in WIAC history. Her 19 field goals in that game still stands as a WIAC record.

Kirchenwitz's finest season came as a senior in 1991 when she received NCAA Division III All-America and All-WIAC first team accolades after leading the Titans to a 21-5 record, a WIAC championship and a berth in the "Sweet Sixteen" of the NCAA Division III Tournament. Kirchenwitz averaged a WIAC-leading 20.9 points per game that season while averaging 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per contest. In addition to her 40-point game against UW-River Falls that season, Kirchenwitz also scored 37 points in the Titans' 83-73 win over NCAA Division II UW-Parkside on December 9, 1990.

Following graduation from Freedom High School in 1986, Kirchenwitz attended UW-Oshkosh and became an immediate impact player for the school's women's basketball program. In 1987, her freshman season, Kirchenwitz averaged 14.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game for a UW-Oshkosh team that posted a 14-9 record.

The following year, Kirchenwitz helped the Titans to a 17-7 record and landed All-WIAC first team accolades after averaging 18.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per contest.

In 1989, Kirchenwitz had another outstanding season, receiving All-WIAC first team honors after averaging 17.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Highlighting her individual performances that year was a 37-point performance against UW-Stout on December 12, 1988. Kirchenwitz and the Titans went 16-8 that season under first-year head coach Kathi Bennett.

The 1995 UW-Oshkosh graduate currently lives in Milwaukee, where she is the Quality Director at Joseph Campione Incorporated in Oak Creek.

Ric KunnertAs a standout performer on both the basketball court and on the golf course, Ric Kunnert put together an exceptional two-sport career while attending UW-Oshkosh.

In men's basketball, Kunnert played for the Titans from 1987 to 1990, receiving All-WIAC and NAIA All-District 14 first team accolades in each of his last three seasons. The Dubuque, Iowa, native is one of only three UW-Oshkosh men's basketball players to receive All-WIAC first team honors three times, with the others being Ralph Sims from 1976 to 1978 and Brad Clark from 1998 to 2000.

Kunnert played in 108 basketball games during his UW-Oshkosh career, including 96 as a starter. He currently ranks third in UW-Oshkosh annals with 1,783 career points, fifth with 760 career rebounds and seventh with 114 career three-point field goals. UW-Oshkosh posted three winning seasons during Kunnert's basketball career, including 15-12 records in 1987 and 1990.

Appearing in 27 games, including 15 starts, during the 1987 season Kunnert averaged 9.7 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest. Kunnert displayed his scoring ability early during his freshman season, tallying 20 points in just his fifth game, a 115-111 triple-overtime loss to UW-Platteville.

In 1988, Kunnert started all 27 games for UW-Oshkosh and averaged 18.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per contest, both team bests. The following season, Kunnert started all 27 games that he played in and averaged 19.6 points and a team-leading 8.1 rebounds per contest. In WIAC play, Kunnert averaged 9.3 rebounds per game to lead the league. Kunnert paced the Titans in scoring 12 times and rebounding 16 times that year, including a 33-point, 14-rebound performance in a 75-73 loss to UW-River Falls.

In 1990, Kunnert's final season on the hardwood, he averaged 17.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, both team highs. Starting all 27 games that he played in, Kunnert led the Titans in scoring 13 times and rebounding 19.

Competing on the UW-Oshkosh men's golf team from 1986 to 1989, Kunnert was a four-time NAIA All-District 14 and three-time All-WIAC first team selection. He finished second in the WIAC in both 1986 and 1988 and fourth in 1987. Kunnert's talents as a golfer were recognized in 1987 when he was selected to participate in the NCAA Division III Championship.

Kunnert, a 1990 graduate of UW-Oshkosh, has made playing and teaching golf a way of life. He currenty resides in Glenview, Ill., where he is the head golf professional at the Westmoreland Country Club. Previously, the Dubuque Wahlert High School graduate was the head golf professional at the Janesville Country Club. Kunnert and his wife, Jackie, have one child.
