Athletic Training & Medical Information |

UW-Oshkosh would like to congratulate both you and your participants on qualifying for the 2007 NCAA Division III Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The following information pertains to athletic training and medical coverage, which will be supplied throughout the entire meet. Please do not hesitate in asking any questions.
- The main athletic training facility is located on the lowver of Alumni Baseball Stadium.
- A satellite athletic training/first aid tent will be adjacent to the athlete’s tent which is located on the Oshkosh B’Gosh Practice Track.
- The main athletic training facility will be supplied with muscle stim, ultrasound, combination stim/US, jobst compression unit, hot packs, ice, along with other general and wound care supplies. No whirlpools are available.
- Ice and water stations will be provided in numerous locations around the main track and inside the satellite athletic training tent.
- The main athletic training facility will open 2 1/2 hours prior to the first event of each day and will remain open for one hour after the completion of the final event.
- Two licensed athletic trainers along with athletic training students will be present throughout the entire meet to assist all teams.
- No certified athletic trainer will be present from UW-Oshkosh at the practice facilities. A certified athletic trainer will be present on Wednesday (May 23) for pre-meet practice.
- If you have any special needs or requests, please notify an athletic trainer and all efforts will be made to accompany your request.
- Mercy Medical Center will provide all emergency needs throughout the meet. Directions to the hospital from various sites are listed below.
- UW-Oshkosh's team physician will be present on-site and provide medical coverage throughout the meet.
- Each team is responsible for bringing a fully-stocked athletic training kit with insurance and emergency contact information.

Directions to Mercy Medical Center from J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium
Exit J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium and go left on Josslyn Street. Take Josslyn Street to Witzel Ave. Turn right on Witzel Ave. Follow Witzel Ave. through town and over Highway 41. (There will be six stoplights total, with the last being the corner of Witzel Ave. and Westhaven Drive). You will continue to a four-way stop at Oakwood Road, then turn left. Mercy Medical Center will be on the left side.
Directions to Mercy Medical Center from Fox Cities Area/Fond du Lac
Take the 9th Ave. exit, go west on 9th Ave. (Right if traveling from the North/Fox Cities area and left and over 41 Highway if traveling from south/Fond du Lac). You will go through one stop light and continuing traveling to a four-way stop at Oakwood Road. Take a right on Oakwood Road and Mercy Medical Center will be on your right side.
