Men's 100-Meter Dash Recap

OSHKOSH, Wis. – Pulling away midway through the race, Willie Hordge of State University of New York-Buffalo won the national title in the men’s 100-meter dash at the NCAA Division III National Championship, held Saturday afternoon at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.

Under a downpour that started just minutes before the start of the race, Hordge overcame the conditions to score the victory in a time of 10.56, ahead of second-place Amman Siddeeq of the State University of New York-Cortland (10.66) and third-place Orlando Walton of the University of Dubuque (Iowa) (10.68).

Marcus Walgrave of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse finished in fourth-place in a time of 10.74, Eddie Bynum of Salem State College (Mass.) in fifth-place in a time of 10.81 and Delannie Springs of Salisbury University (Md.) in six-place in a time of 10.88.

Hanneus Ollison of McMurry University (Texas) claimed seventh-place in a time of 10.90 and Kyly Percival of Alma College (Mich.) grabbed eighth-place in a time of 10.92.

Hordge claimed the fourth national title in school history for State University of New York-Buffalo.
