Men's 200-Meter Dash Recap |
OSHKOSH, Wis. – Buffalo State College’s (N.Y.) Willie Hordge made himself familiar with the awards crew at the 2007 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
Hordge, just two races removed from a title in the 100, pulled out of the blocks quickly and rolled to a second title Saturday at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium, this one coming in the 200-meter dash in a time of 21.15 seconds. A combined indoor and outdoor three-time All-American this season, Hordge is the first double winner in a championship in program history.
Illinois Wesleyan University’s Matt Harden and the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse’s Michael Queensland went neck-and-neck to the finish, each ending with a 21.44 second clocking. Harden wound up second with Queensland ending third.
