Women's High Jump Recap
OSHKOSH, Wis. - After setting a school record in the heptathlon high jump Thursday (May 24) at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship, University of Wisconsin-River Falls senior Jillian Crandall came back to capture the high jump title Friday (May 25) afternoon at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium. She had broken her own school record in the heptathlon with a jump of 5-8 ½.

A four-time NCAA Division III qualifier in the high jump, Crandall earned her second career All-America accolade. She placed second in 2004. Crandall was selected the women’s National Field Athlete of the Year by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association in 2007. She finished third in the heptathlon at the national championship.

Junior Amanda Haney from State University of New York-Geneseo placed second in the high jump with a mark of 5-7. It is her third All-America award after finishing third in 2005 and sixth in 2006. Senior Lauren Colyn of Calvin College (Mich.) was third (5-7) for her first career All-America honor.

Monmouth College (Ill.) junior Megan Clennon and Calvin College (Mich.) senior Katie Bolt tied for fourth (5-5 ¾).
