UW-Oshkosh, along with SportClips of Appleton and Oshkosh, is sponsoring the national Take A Kid to the Game promotion when the Titans host UW-La Crosse in a football game on Saturday (Oct. 18) at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium.
Children ages 12 and under can attend the 1 p.m. game for free when accompanied by a paying adult. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive Titan Thunder Sticks, compliments of 4-imprint. Halftime contests will also be held.
Now in its 14th year, the Take A Kid to the Game program provides NCAA member institutions a national grassroots program that is easily implemented at NCAA Football and men's and women's basketball games. The Take A Kid to the Game program allows institutions an opportunity to introduce area youth to its athletics programs as well as the college or university while also boosting attendance.
