From WIAC Tournament
 The UW-Oshkosh women's softball team
had its 2002 season come to an abrupt end when it
dropped a pair of games at the WIAC Tournament
held Friday (May 3) in Onalaska. The fourth-seeded Titans
(15-14) were ousted from the nine-team,
double-elimination event after suffering losses
of 6-1 to fifth-seed UW-Whitewater (24-11) and

in the second. The Warhawks' big first inning
featured run-scoring doubles by designated hitter
Kelly Punzel and third baseman Amanda Thompson
and a run-scoring single by second baseman Amy

in both the first and second innings. The Titans
scored in the first frame on a single by junior
catcher Mary Easton and in the second on a single
